A somewhat chilly start, but the sunshine was good to see after so many days of dark clouds and rain. The clear highlight today was a single female
Black Redstart, seen briefly around 10:13 flitting between the buildings at Beacon Academy. This is only my 2nd in Crowborough. I first saw the bird perched on the new fencing, and as it took off I saw the flash of orange on the tail. Totals for the nearly 3 hours spend watching today are below:
